In current Web3 blockchain projects, whether for NFT issuance or token ICOs, whitelists are generally used for sales. The project team first provides GTD whitelists to ensure holders can purchase (mint) first, followed by a public sale phase.
For example: Suppose a project issues 5000 NFTs, with a presale price of 0.1 ETH and a public sale price of 0.15 ETH. At this point, the advantage of the GTD whitelist is that there is no competition for purchase, allowing ample time to buy NFTs at a discounted price.
Another example: If you hold an FCFS (Lucky Whitelist) spot, and there are only 800 remaining, but there are 3000 or more FCFS spots, then you need to compete with speed, technical tools, and gas fees (transaction fees). Gas fees are similar to the bidding mechanism at an auction house—miners prioritize transactions with higher gas fees. For instance, if someone bids 100 yuan in gas and you bid 120 yuan, the miner will prioritize packaging your transaction.
2: What is an NFT?#
✍️ In Chinese, it is called "非同质化代币" (Non-Fungible Token). In short, it is a digital asset based on blockchain technology, where each NFT is unique and non-interchangeable, and can be considered a digital collectible.
✍️ NFTs are recorded on the blockchain, most commonly on chains like Ethereum and Solana. The blockchain serves as a public ledger, allowing anyone to query the ownership address and transaction history of NFTs, ensuring transparency and immutability.

4: About Wallets#
Wallets are a key aspect of Web3, concerning personal asset security. The registration process usually involves: installing a plugin ➡️ setting a password ➡️ backing up a mnemonic phrase ➡️ completing registration.

A wallet is similar to a regular bank card, requiring a password for payments, but the difference is that blockchain wallets can be generated anonymously (no formalities required). Anyone who knows your mnemonic phrase or private key can transfer your assets.

Part Two: Intermediate Stage#
If you have read this far, it indicates you have passed the beginner stage.
How to quickly obtain a whitelist? Based on three years of experience, it can be divided into four steps. Common methods in the community include creation, activity, participation in events, and lotteries.
1. Creation Method#
After entering the community, project teams often release NFT images. If you are skilled in drawing, you can immediately create derivative works, drawing inspiration from platforms like Xiaohongshu, Qiantu, or Nitu.
If you cannot draw, you can find commissioned drawing services on platforms like Xianyu (prices around 50-80 yuan), just communicate your needs.
Three years of experience sharing: Every rule may have loopholes. For example, I once participated in a popular project (name omitted), whose rules required posting artistic creations to gain identity, thus participating in a lottery (the top three received whitelists). After discovering a loophole in the rules, I found similar images online and posted them, gaining identity and using multiple accounts to participate, ultimately obtaining about 10 whitelists. The project's price soared over 20 times after issuance, with a floor price reaching 0.5 ETH.
2. Participation Method#
Use a broad net strategy to obtain whitelists.
For example: The project holds activities like singing, dancing, crafts, drawing, or writing threads. First, assess your abilities; for instance, as a craft enthusiast, prioritize creating multiple craft works. Allocate your main account (commonly used) to post 2-3 works, and use a secondary account to post the remaining works (the secondary account needs to be active in the community). Note: You can leverage friends' expertise, such as asking a friend who sings well to record audio and tag your DC number. This method increases the probability of obtaining a whitelist.
3. Activity Method#
This is the most time-consuming and tests your mindset, requiring continuous activity in the community for several days to establish a stable persona (avoid frequently changing names, let the moderators remember you, and build relationships with community members).
Finally, there is the luck method: lotteries. Winning by quantity, entirely based on luck. You can participate through DC, Twitter, AlphaBot, or other communities.
